Stefanie deOlloqui - Governance Committee Chair To Stefanie deOlloqui, Mizpah is a place to celebrate and preserve her Jewish heritage which is a benefit to herself, her family, and the increasingly diversified Chattanooga. Stefanie works as a nonprofit consultant and see her work as a Mitzvah. Notable projects include our bicycle share program, the award winning electric car share system, and a trail project connected to National Park properties giving East Chattanooga access to their green spaces. However, Stefanie's greatest joy is her family.

Cathryn Cohen - Religious Activities Committee Chair Since arriving in Tennessee with husband Art Marder and three canine "children" in 2008, this "California Girl" has dealt with culture shock "gigantic" but has thrown herself into to the wonderful welcoming Jewish Community. Active with the Boards of Mizpah and Hadassah as well as the Sunday Book Club, Monday Mah Jongg and Saturday morning Torah study, she's made lots of friends and has had great satisfaction in her volunteer work. She's taught Hebrew to the little ones here at Mizpah, spent time in the kitchen cleaning up after many a First Friday, helped plan holidays and festivals, licked envelopes for Angela and proof read the annual Book of Remembrance. If anyone needs a hand, just call on Cathryn and she'll be there front and center!

Josh Schklar - Education Committee Chair Joshua is an occupational therapist, and the Education Chair of the Board. Josh is originally from Nashville, but he also spent a few years at the Mizpah Congregation with his family when he was young. Josh joined the military and served as a linguist, which took him all over the world. Eventually, he made his way to Chicago where he met his wife, Bethany. They moved to Chattanooga in 2013, and are now proud members of Mizpah. They have a two year old son named Noah. Josh is thrilled to be fulfilling his second year on the board, and is thankful for the opportunity to serve the congregation.
