Fund Donation  

To Make a Donation to Mizpah Congregation, please contact the temple office.  You can designate your donation to one of our Special Funds. 

Archives - Funds are used to collect, identify, sort and store the written and non-written history of the Temple.

Building - Funds are used to improve the physical structure of the building (does not include "routine" maintenance). 

Capital Campaign - Funds go towards the complete outside and inside restoration project completed in 2004, also included endowing future funds to ensure we can attract the rabbinic leadership we want, as well as endowing funds for future renovation needs. 

Cemetery - Funds go specifically to a seperate managed Cemetery Board, whole sole purpose is to maintain in perpetuity the Mizpah Cemetery.

Endowment - Funds go specifically into a separately managed Endowment fund, whose assets are for the future (in perpetuity) management of the Temple.

Feinstein Beautification - funds used specifically for the beautification of Feinstein Hall.

Flower - Funds used specifically for flowers, for High Holidays, for example.

Garden of Life - Funds used specifically for the Garden of Life, including the area along McCallie Avenue and adjacent to the main entrance of the Sanctuary.

Operating - Funds go into the general operating expenses of the Temple.

Goldman/Moses - Funds endowed by the Goldman and Moses families, used to bring exceptional guest speakers and artists to Mizpah.

Library - Funds used to enhance the holdings of the Gould Memorial Library.

Miller/Lefkoff - Endowment Fund

Meitav Youth Fellowship - Funds used specifically to help sponsor a Meitav Fellow from Mizpah.  This fellowship is a selective national program for youth involving 3 years of significant Jewish study and leadership training.

Marks Memorial - Endowment Fund

Mazon - Funds sent quarterly to the Mazon Fund, an entity within the Union for Reform Judaism who spend money to deal with (Jewish) hunger in the world.

Miller/Schwartz - Endowment Fund

Mizpah News - Funds used to enhance/defray the costs of the monthly Mizpah bulletin.

Music - Funds used by our choir to bring music and musical artists/piano accompaniment to our congregation.  Included High Holy Days as well as ongoing worship services, life-cycle events, or other Temple events as needed.

NFTY - The North American Federation of Temple Youth; our Reform movement's national youth organization.

Prayer Book - Funds used to purchase new prayer books, either current ones or new ones as they become available, as well as unique books, such as Passover Haggadahs.

Rabbi's Discretionary - Funds distributed at the discretion of the Rabbi.

Rita Russ Speer - Funds used for physical properties of the for the temple.

Religious School - Funds used for the purchase of books and materials used by our youth in religious ("Sunday") school.

Social Action - Funds used by our Social Action Committee for the sole purpose of participation in planned and ongoing Temple or community Social Action projects.
