Social Action Committee

"Tikkun Olam", means "repairing the world".  It is important for Jews to participate in repairing the world through tzedakah (justice and righteousness) and g'milut hassadim (acts of loving kindness).  Without your involvement your voice won't be heard, your cares and concerns will go unsettled.  Without all our involvement, injustice and evil will continue to exist.  Our Social Action Committee seeks to involve the congregation in serving and empowering those who are disadvantaged or in need.  We wish to educate and motivate our members, and provide avenues for adults, youth and children to do Social Action.  We, as Jews, are commanded to pursue Justice, and to participate in Tikkun Olam.  Get involved!  Call the Temple office or email at mizpah@mizpahcongregation.org.
