Women of Mizpah is a new program to encourage the Jewish woman of our
congregation to get together and have fun! We have no dues, no officers,
so all we ask of our women is to come relax, socialize and have a good
time! Some events have a cost, others do not. Information each month will
be available in the Mizpah Bulletin, e-mail or a post card mailing (when
possible). This is a great opportunity to get to know each other
better and build new friendships. We hope every woman at Mizpah will join
us for the fun. More specific information will follow in coming months.
Thefollowing is a calendar of 2013-2014 Events:
Monday May 13th - *Flower Arranging Class * with Grafe Studio (wine and
cheese provided and you take home a beautiful flower arrangement!) $30 for
the class. Starts at 6:00pm at Grafe Studio.
Sunday June 2nd - Rock City -tour starts at 4:45 at Rock City. Cost $18-
$20 followed by dinner at Sandy Tabakin's home at no cost!
July - Pool party at Bev Coulter's home (or should we say farm!) No
cost. Bring a food to share!
Saturday, August 10th - Roller Derby @ Chattanooga Convention Center.
Come support our Chattanooga Roller Derby girls! This is a ton of fun.
Saturday, August 24th - Road Trip to Decab Farmers market in Atlanta for
October - Nature Walk with Rhonda Seeber
November - Special event with Deb Tepper (TBA)
December - Game night at Dana Bank's home
January - Cooking class with chef Beth Roberts
April 2014 - Chocolate Seder with Deb Tepper
If you have a great idea and would like to be the coordinator of an
activity one month OR help be a coordinator (2 heads are better than
one) on a new activity or help someone listed above...we would LOVE TO HAVE
